We made scarecrows and turkeys. We tasted popcorn and sang American songs. We learnt about the story of the first Thanksgiving, about the pilgrims and native Americans eventually working together. We wrote our own prayer of thanksgiving too. Dear God thank you for bikes, trucks, blocks and trains. Thank you for bananas, apples and oranges to eat, for milk, water and juice to drink. Thank you for toys to play with, games to play and all our friends. Amen.
